Salary Range: $40,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine specifications.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and positioning components.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, adherence to specifications, and detect defects.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, procedures, and quality standards.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certifications.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and weld symbols.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane operator certification.
• Experience with metal fabrication and fitting.
