**Job Title: Structural Welder** **Job Description** A manufacturing company near Katy is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to work on small to large skid units. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding using 1G-4G MIG and flux core processes on carbon and stainless steel. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and make necessary adjustments to the welding machine. **Responsibilities** + Perform structural welding on small to large skid units. + Utilize MIG and flux core processes for welding tasks. + Weld on carbon and stainless steel materials. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. + Adjust welding machines as needed for specific tasks. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of structural welding experience. + 4+ years of experience with MIG and flux core welding. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with fitting is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including health, dental, medical, vision, 401(k), HSA, and FSA upon direct conversion. **Work Environment** The position is based in a fast-paced production shop without air conditioning, housing 30 employees in the fabrication bay. The role operates during the day shift from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 10-hour shifts scheduled five days a week. Optional overtime is available, including the possibility of 12-hour shifts and working on Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Katy, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
