Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Day Shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Shift Length: 12 hours
Contract Duration: 6 weeks
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting during extended day shifts. The clinician is responsible for direct patient care, assessments, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and high-quality outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor conditions throughout the shift.
Administer medications, treatments, wound care, and clinical interventions per scope and protocols.
Document all care provided, assessments, and patient responses accurately and timely.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other staff to deliver coordinated care.
Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical actions.
Support admissions, transfers, and discharges with proper documentation and communication.
Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care with professionalism and integrity.
Active state RN license.
Experience in skilled nursing or rehab strongly preferred.
Proficient in clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
Ability to work long 12-hour day shifts reliably.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
