Job Description

Property Accountant up to $85,000 + 10% bonus

We are seeking a skilled Property Accountant to join our team. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to handle all property accounting for the organization, working directly with the team in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle property accounting for mix of residential and commercial
• Handle all GL accounting, journal entries, and month-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements and work closely on budgeting and forecasting
• Oversee AP/AR, reconciliations, and other property-specific accounting tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in property or real estate accounting
• Proficiency with AppFolio and advanced Excel skills is a plus
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and month-end close
