What You’ll Do

As a key member of the Riverside Services maintenance division, you’ll:

• Operate a parking lot sweeper truck to clean and maintain parking lots, driveways, and other outdoor commercial areas.
• Ensure the truck is functioning properly and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Monitor and clean all areas as directed, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Safely and efficiently navigate parking lots, working around vehicles, debris, and obstacles.
• Manage the proper disposal of debris and trash collected during the sweeping process.
• Complete daily reports to document work completed and any issues encountered during the shift.
• Ensure the equipment is thoroughly cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.

What It Takes to Succeed

• 3+ years of experience operating sweeper trucks or similar outdoor maintenance equipment.
• A  valid driver’s license and clean driving record .
• A  valid DOT card (or the ability to get one quickly).
• Comfort working  overnight shifts and in changing outdoor conditions.
• Confidence working  independently and staying on task without supervision.
• Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to  lift up to 50 lbs , sit for long periods, and work outdoors.

• Experience with  multiple types of sweeping equipment .
• Familiarity with  outdoor maintenance best practices and safety guidelines.
• A track record of  reliability and attention to detail .
