Meter Reader – Temp-to-Perm 📍 The Villages, FL 32159
💵 $16/hr | Temp-to-Perm

Qualifications

Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record
Basic computer operation skills
Familiarity with The Villages community geography
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & mobile apps
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Accurately read and record water meters on assigned routes
Install or assist with meter and box installation
Inspect meters/connections for defects or damage; repair leaks/broken lines; report issues to Lead
Report hazardous or difficult-to-read meter locations
Recheck and verify readings when complaints arise
Explain unusual readings to customers
Respond to customer inquiries and escalate when necessary
Turn water meters on/off as required
