• Healthcare data experience, including Epic
• Familiarity with PHI/PII, privacy, and compliance requirements
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Translate technical metadata, data lineage, and reporting logic into clear, business-friendly documentation for the enterprise data catalog
• Partner with Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and business teams to document data sources, transformations, metrics, and quality rules
• Ensure metadata consistency, accuracy, and completeness across core data domains (e.g., patient, provider)
• Support data governance initiatives by documenting standards, policies, ownership, and certification processes
• Identify documentation gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to remediate or retire incomplete or non-compliant data assets
• Develop and maintain data policies related to restricted data, retention, PHI/PII, and enterprise governance standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (required)
• 4 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles
• 1 2 years of experience working with data catalogs or metadata management tools
• Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
