We are looking for a Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high quality care to patients at our Endocrinology Downtown Bethesda Practice . The Medical Assistant administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, maintains inventory of appropriate supplies, ensures safe and efficient patient flow.

Location : 7315 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814

Shift : Non-exempt - Full-time - 40 hours per week - 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. , one late night required to work until 7 p.m monthly

What You'll Need to be Successful:

• High School Diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant required successful completion of the AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA(NCCT), RCMAS(NCMA), CCMA(NHA) or RMA (American Allied Health). Medical Assistant Certification, required within 3 months of hire. Five or more years of specific applicable MA experience in primary medical care may be substituted for formal training program provided eligibility for RMA(American Medical Technologists) exam. A valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification required every two years.
• Two years’ experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum $17.82/hour - Maximum $​​​​29.43/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
