GDIT is seeking an Intermediate Python Developer . The team member will support maintenance, enhancement and modernization of complex DoD applications. Responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing application code in an Agile Scrum environment. Troubleshoot complex problems in the development environment. Collaborates with multi-site team to identity, resolve and test solutions to issues with Production system.

Skills and Abilities

• Solid understanding of designing, development, database development, and testing methodologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of multi-site team

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the software development field will be considered
• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting Python (Flask experience a plus)
• 7+ years of object-oriented development experience
• 3+ years of MS SQL and T-SQL experience
• Experience Agile/Scrum software development environment
• SECRET security clearance
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Cloud environments
• DoD system development experience
• Security+ certification

The likely salary range for this position is $96,034 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
