Job Description

Description We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Assistant to join our team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will provide essential support in human resources operations, including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to organizational success and grow your career in HR. Responsibilities: - Assist with onboarding processes, including welcoming new team members and coordinating orientation sessions. - Collaborate with district managers and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of new employees. - Prepare and distribute offer letters while overseeing background checks and employment documentation. - Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and provide detailed explanations as needed. - Conduct quality control calls and maintain regular communication with new team members to ensure satisfaction. - Generate reports on new employee metrics, employee starts, and other HR-related data. - Partner with vocational schools and military recruitment channels to source candidates effectively. - Perform light sourcing and market research to identify potential talent pools. - Support administrative tasks, including updating HR databases and preparing necessary documentation. - Work closely with the talent acquisition team to reopen job orders and manage recruitment processes. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field. - Proficiency in onboarding processes and orientation for new team members. - Strong skills in benefits administration and employee relations. - Experience mentoring and training new employees to ensure successful integration. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis. - Excellent organizational and administrative abilities to handle multiple HR tasks. - Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external recruitment partners. - Knowledge of vocational school and military recruitment strategies is a plus.
