Description Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with a well-established Credit Union in Dublin to hire an Accounting Manager - Reconciliations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, mission-driven financial services team. Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 base salary + discretionary bonus Location: Dublin, CA | Hybrid (3 days onsite) Key Responsibilities + Lead and oversee the general ledger account reconciliations process, including management, leadership, and governance. + Design and implement the organization's reconciliation operating model, including oversight of both onsite and outsourced resources. + Drive automation initiatives using BlackLine and other technology solutions. + Ensure reconciliations are performed timely, accurately, and consistently, with proper identification and tracking of reconciling items. + Oversee completion of the monthly Reconciliations Checklist with documentation and appropriate approvals. + Manage aging reports of reconciling items, including reserves and write-offs in line with policy. + Develop and maintain reconciliation performance metrics and reporting. + Perform and review reconciliations as needed, ensuring compliance with established standards. + Maintain process flow documentation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation Standards. + Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Core, and Enterprise Data teams to resolve reconciliation issues and strengthen processes. + Communicate effectively with senior management, auditors, committees, and regulators. + Champion a culture of continuous improvement in reconciliation practices. Requirements + Strong BlackLine experience, including implementation of reconciliation solutions. + Hands-on reconciliation expertise with key accounts (cash, credit, etc.) - ability to identify small discrepancies. + Financial services experience (credit union experience highly preferred). + Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of integrating into highly team-oriented environments.
